Deputy Chief of Mission Putney noted, “There are so many exciting books, each of them revealing a new world.  Even when we read for pleasure, every new page can be a valuable lesson and broaden our horizons.”  He also encouraged all adults to spend time reading with the children in their lives and noted that each of us, whether we’re professional educators, parents, extended family, friends, or neighbors, can help nurture a love of reading and math in young children. The Reading and Math are Fun event also included creative math activities with Professor Bujar Saiti .

Mayor of the municipality of Cair, Izet Mexhiti, and the school’s principal, Qamuran Kuchi, made short remarks to welcome the guests and expressed their support to project activities.
